Meet Your Candidates: Iron County Democrats Hosting Candidate Fundraiser September 12th
If you’ve been frustrated with the direction things are headed and wondering what you can actually do about it, we have an answer: Come meet the people on your November ballot.
On Saturday, September 12th, Iron County Democrats are hosting a candidate fundraiser at a private home in Cedar City. It’s an evening designed for real conversation, not scripted speeches or podium talking points. Just candidates, community members, and an opportunity to actually get to know the people asking for your vote.
Who Will Be There
Four local Democratic candidates will be in attendance:
- Kent Udell is running for U.S. Congressional District 3
- Richard “Shane” Robillard is running for Utah Senate District 28
- Stacey Pendergraft is running for Utah House District 70.
- Thomas Loveheart is running for Utah House District 71
These are your neighbors. People who looked at what’s happening in Iron County and Southern Utah and decided to do something about it. Running for office takes an enormous amount of time, energy, and personal sacrifice. These four candidates are doing all of it because they genuinely believe this community deserves better representation.
What to Expect
This is a casual evening at a private home in Cedar City. Come ready to mingle, ask questions, and have a real conversation with candidates who want to hear from you.
There will also be opportunities to support the campaigns financially. Local races are won or lost on community support. Yard signs, mailers, digital outreach, and the cost of showing up across rural Utah all add up fast. Every dollar raised goes directly toward getting these candidates in front of voters before November.
What These Candidates Believe In
Iron County Democrats believe in an economy that works for working people, not just the wealthy. We believe small businesses are the backbone of this community. We believe in clean water, protected public lands, and open spaces that stay open. And we believe your elected leaders should actually represent what the people of this community need and want.
If any of that resonates with you, this evening is for you.
